BarFlow

Terms of Use

Last updated: 3 October 2026. These terms apply to BarFlow (the Excel workbook "BarFlow BBS") and BarFlow Cutting Plan (the Windows program), together "the Software", sold by the individual developer operating as BarFlow ("we", "us"), contact: support@barflowapp.com.

1. Licence

When you buy a licence we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Software on one computer, the one you activate with your activation code (its Computer ID is recorded when you activate). A BarFlow BBS licence is valid for the period you bought (for example 6 or 12 months). A Cutting Plan licence is valid for the number of runs you bought. The 5-computer package lets you activate up to five computers with its code; to move a licence to another computer, write to us.

2. What you may not do

You may not copy, share, resell, rent or publish your licence code or the licensed files; remove or bypass the licence checks (including changing the computer's date or clock to extend a licence); or reverse-engineer the Software except where the law allows it.

3. Free version

The free version of BarFlow BBS (sample shape codes 100, 201 and 500) may be used and shared freely in its original, unmodified form.

4. Engineering responsibility

The Software is a calculation aid. Shape codes, cutting lengths, weights, cutting plans and drawings follow the formulas implemented in it and may contain errors or differ from your project specification (bend radii, laps, hooks and so on). You are fully responsible for checking every result before ordering, cutting or bending steel or before using any output on site.

5. No warranty, limited liability

The Software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, wasted material or project delays arising from its use, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the price you paid for the licence concerned.

6. Support and updates

Support is by email. We may release updates; a licence covers updates released during its validity period. Download files only from our official page: antivirus products may warn about any Excel file that contains macros.

7. Payment, refunds and tax

Payments are processed by our payment partner, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the seller of record and handles taxes. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.

8. Ending a licence

We may end a licence that is used against these terms (for example shared on several computers or after a chargeback), without refund.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Please contact us first to settle any dispute.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
